Inverter Heat Pumps and Backup Power for Sweet Home, OR
Sweet Home calls itself the Gateway to the Santiam Playground, with Foster Lake, Green Peter, and the Cascade foothills right outside town. From our Dallas shop, it’s about 55 miles, roughly an hour and a half by car. We serve homes in town along the South Santiam River and out in the surrounding hills.

Foothill Comfort, All Year
Sweet Home sits at the edge of the Cascades. Winters are cold and wet, and summers are warm and dry.
Inverter heat pumps are our main focus. An inverter heat pump changes speed to match the weather, so it can run steady and quiet instead of cycling on and off. It heats and cools with one system.
Living in a manufactured home, a cabin, or an older house with no ducts? A ductless mini split can heat and cool without new ductwork. We’ll look at your home and tell you honestly what makes sense.

In Town or Out of Town? Check Your Power Bill
In Sweet Home, Pacific Power provides electricity in town, and NW Natural provides natural gas. Some rural areas in Linn County, including parts east of Sweet Home, are served by Consumers Power Inc., a member-owned electric co-op.
Here’s why that matters for energy incentives:
Pacific Power and NW Natural customers can work with Energy Trust of Oregon. Peak is an Energy Trust of Oregon Trade Ally.
Consumers Power members aren’t part of Energy Trust. The co-op has its own efficiency programs, including ones for heat pumps and ductless systems. Peak works with these programs too, so we can help members with Consumers Power energy incentives.
Check the name on your power bill. We’ll help you find the right program.

When the Power Goes Out
In January 2024, an ice storm knocked out power across the valley. Some homes in Lebanon and Sweet Home were still waiting for power days later. In late summer, heat and wind can raise fire danger along the Highway 20 corridor east of town, and the utilities have warned of outages then too.
A Generac whole home generator starts on its own when the power drops. Your heat, lights, and fridge keep running.
The Peak Performance Plan puts maintenance visits on the calendar, so your system is checked and ready before winter.
