How a Heat Pump Works

Rather than burning fuel to make heat, a heat pump moves heat from one place to another. In cooler months it brings warmth into your home from outdoors. In warm months it works in reverse and moves heat out, which cools your home.

That's why a single piece of equipment can handle both seasons.

Types of Heat Pump Systems

  • Ducted heat pumps use the ductwork in your home to distribute air.

  • Ductless heat pumps (mini splits) serve individual rooms or zones without ducts. Learn more

At your free estimate we'll help you work out which type suits your home.
