Repair or Replace? You'll Get the Truth.

Some furnaces are worth fixing, and some have reached the end of the road. When replacing is the smarter move, we'll say so. We'd rather be honest than keep patching a furnace that needs to go.

Thinking about a new furnace?

Choosing a New Furnace

A quick overview of furnace types:

  • Single stage: One heat setting. It's either on or off.

  • Two stage: A low setting for mild days and a high setting for cold ones, which can feel steadier.

  • Variable (modulating): Adjusts its output to match what your home needs at the moment. Often the most efficient type.

Also worth knowing:

  • AFUE is the efficiency rating for a furnace. A higher AFUE means more of the fuel becomes heat.

  • Right-sized beats oversized. A furnace should fit your home. We'll work out the right size at your free estimate.
